If you don't know, Funassyi is Funabashi cities mascot that has a silly and cute personality. You've probably seen Funassyi in the video of where they run away from exploding bombs (I'm not kidding, you can see the whole video here).
Seeing as Funassyi is a pear, of course the pure smile is also pear infused as well. Pears aren't really a common ingredient for beauty products, at least from my experience it isn't. Actually though, pears are great for skin. Super rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin K and copper, Pears naturally tighten wrinkles and keep the skin firm, clean and refreshed. They contain natural humectants, which help balance the normal water-content of the skin and retain its natural moisture.
Besides being totally adorable and fun to wear, the mask was effective. It smelled like pears while you wore it, (which either one would love or hate) and made my skin feel super soft and appear brighter after use. Usually Pure Smile's products are pretty cheap, and easy to find anywhere in Japan. They are more known for the cute designs and moisture in the masks than anything. Super cute idea for sleepovers or when you take a bath!
